Oversee the Finance Department and ensure that they provide support to all relevant departments and subsidiaries.
Supervise financial transactions to ensure that they recorded accurately and adhere to internal compliance procedures.
Implement new financial policies and monitor them to ensure that they are effective.
Assess areas for improvement in terms of cost management and suggest recommendations to mitigate it.
Manage and optimise financial systemsWork closely with different departments to assess actual company performance against expected results, and subsequently formulate appropriate action plansLiaise with both internal and external stakeholders of the organisationKeep abreast with IFRS reporting standards and update employees on any changes in the accounting standards.
Liaise with internal and external auditors for the entire annual audit process.
Prepare cash forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis.
Develop strategic plans and formulate annual budgets with assistance from the CFO.
Work closely with the CFO on any ad hoc tasks and projects
