Our client, an event management organization, is currently looking for an experienced, connected, and establishedPR and Communications Manager– Arabic Speaker to be based in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Senior marketing manager, you will have the responsibility for supporting the development and success of the Marketing and PR function of the organization and you should be able to establish, manage, and execute robust public relations campaigns for the organization. You would work to ensure successful strategies are developed and executed in line with the marketing objectives and contribute to the organization and its brand objectives.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Devise ambitious PR & Communication’s plans to raise the profile of the brand supporting the organizations objectives
- Create and implement cost effective media engagement plans, maximizing positive coverage across all channels
- Manage media interviews and positioning of the CEO of the organization
- Drive positive press coverage, focusing on quality in-depth articles with leading titles
- Develop communication content and messages that support the value propositions of the organization and various brands
- Manage and maintain key media relations internationally, regionally, and locally in line with the organization’s interest and opportunities
- Monitor the Culture and Art landscape and drive opportunities that position the organization to take part of the public conversation in relevant topics
- Developing stories and news to continuously push the brand’s exposure in media
- Working with the head of department to develop fully integrated programs and channel strategies
- Manage the brand reputation and ensure internal and external alignment.
- Write speeches, literature and other composition assignments requested for the purpose of the organization
- Work closely with content and social teams with digital communications plans
- Coordinate and liaise with VIPs, artist, influencers &artist management agencies
- Manage PR & communication agencies to achieve KPIs
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 10 years PR experience with specific experience working in the MENA region a must.
- Fluent Arabic or English Speaker.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- A team Player with understanding of editorial and commercial imperatives.
- Understanding of communications and proven portfolio of innovative marketing experience.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in public relations / communications / marketing or equivalent.
- Ability to prioritize multiple markets and activities.
- Budget responsibility and financial management.
- Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management or organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Motivated to deliver to deadlines and a team player with an understanding of editorial, PR, commercial and research imperatives
