Job Description
B&S Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Financial Controller to oversee financial operations within our Government & Defense (G&D) business along with wider overview of overall business segments. This role requires a resultsdriven professional with strong expertise in financial modeling audit and reporting and the ability to drive financial performance in a fastpaced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial governance compliance and risk management ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports for the Government & Defense business and other segments including forecast and budgets.
- Develop and implement advanced financial models to support decisionmaking and strategic planning.
- Handle the monthend and yearend closing for assigned locations and entities ensuring accuracy and completeness of Balance Sheet & P&L.
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisionmaking such as costbenefit analysis ROI and profitability assessments.
- Develop and enforce internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Develop strong working relationship with business partners.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Economics; CPA ACCA or CFA preferred.
- 4 years of progressive experience in finance with at least 3 years in a financial controller role or audit role. Strong expertise in financial modeling audit and financial reporting.
- Indepth knowledge of IFRS financial regulations and risk management principles.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Strategic mindset with a resultsoriented attitude.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
