Job Description
Job Posting: Psychiatrist
Location: Abu dhabi United Arab Emirates
Position Type: FullTime
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatrist to provide highquality psychiatric care to individuals seeking help with mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for improving the wellbeing of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and provide psychotherapy as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and follow up on progress.
- Provide crisis intervention and manage psychiatric emergencies when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest in psychiatric research and treatments.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Psychiatry.
- Valid and current psychiatric license.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate empathetic and patientcentered approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have DOH Eligibility/License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in Psychiatry (preferred but not required).
- Experience in a specific area of psychiatry (e.g. adolescent psychiatry addiction etc.) is a plus.
