How does your working day look like
- Manage guest queries in a friendly timely and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
- Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
- Practice 25hours Grooming standards including uniform dress code cleanliness and personal hygiene
- Assists callers courteously and promptly taking messages as necessary which are legible and accurate passing them on to the appropriate person without delay
- Has a good knowledge of the restaurants sitting arrangements.
- Comply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Supplement the bushelp in clearing and resetting the tables.
- Perform all assigned side work.
- Perform other duties as requested handle special guest requests according to 25hours guidelines.
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Assimilate into The 25hours Family PRIDE/CARE culture through understanding supporting and participating in all elements of PRIDE/CARE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Canopy by 25hours from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Work with in all preset budgetary limits.
- Comply with all 25hours Worldwide company policies.
- Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Assistant F&B Manager GM and 25hours Worldwide.
- The management reserves the right to change/extend this statement if necessary at any point of time during her/his employment.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Knowledge of restaurant operations to include appropriate staffing levels service equipment and guest relations.
- Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests memos reservations promotional materials event orders and similar written materials.
- Ability to speak the English language sufficient to conduct small employee meetings to impart new information.
- Ability to remember recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.
- Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Prefer six (6) months to one year previous serving experience. Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Additional language ability preferred.
