Carpenter

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to construct install and repair wooden structures furniture and fixtures for residential commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in using hand tools power tools and measuring equipment to ensure precision in carpentry work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct install and repair doors cabinets partitions furniture and other wooden structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical specifications to determine carpentry work requirements.
• Measure cut shape and assemble wood plywood and other materials using power and hand tools.
• Install flooring roofing and framing as per project specifications.
• Repair and refurbish damaged wooden furniture doors and cabinets.
• Operate and maintain saws drills sanders and other carpentry tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations.
• Work closely with other technicians engineers and project teams to complete carpentry tasks efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or vocational training in Carpentry.
• Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in carpentry woodworking or furniture making.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of wood properties cutting techniques and carpentry materials.
  • Ability to use saws chisels hammers drills and other woodworking tools efficiently.
  • Experience in fitting finishing and polishing woodwork.
• Language: Basic proficiency in English for communication and reporting.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials work in different environments and stand for long hours.
