Job Description
Red Hat Linux Servers Virtual Environments (RHEL 8 7 and 6)
Central SAN and NAS Storages Environments (Dell EMC Unity 550 Isilon H400/A200 and SAN Switches)
Oracle Exadata Engineered System environments (Server X72 Cell Storage IB switches and ZFS backup storage)
Veritas NetBackup Production and DR data backup and tape libraries (Veritas NBU 8.x Applianceand MSL3040 Tape Libraries)
Virtual Infrastructure Environments (Microsoft HyperV VMM Console and Snapshots)
Maintain all above system availability and reliability as per the THE CLIENT requirements.
Support in the development of functional and technical specifications related to Systems Storages Backup Appliance and Engineered Systems based on THE CLIENT business needs.
Support and planning in the installation configuration and maintenance of IT systemsrelated in coordinating with third party providers as and when needed.
Support and perform testing procedure of systems as well as systems upgrades/updates.
Provide level 3 and 2 support through effective and efficient diagnosis and resolution of IT systemrelated issues
Monitoring all the Linux servers storage CS and DR Data backup systems and Oracle Engineered System components.
Support SR and Incident related to Linux servers Storage and data backup environments as per IT help desk system.
Veritas NetBackup Software upgrades at all THE CLIENT campuses. Assisting vendor.
Unity and Isilon Storages software and firmware upgrade.
Monthly backup storage and tape media reports.
Veritas NetBackup DR storage usage analysis. Usage has reached more than 90%.
Reviewing technical solutions of new storage for black board videos archive.
Participate and support in manage engine PAM360 security enhancement project.
Create/update IT operational procedure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in system analyst role with a proven track record.
