Roles and responsibilities
1. Project Management Knowledge
- Project Lifecycle Understanding: Understanding the stages of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Project Methodologies: Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or Lean to support the planning and execution of projects.
- Project Scheduling: Proficiency in creating project timelines and schedules, using tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Asana.
- Resource Allocation: Understanding how to allocate and manage resources (human, financial, and physical) to ensure project success.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing project progress, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables, to ensure that objectives are being met.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting data from various project stages (e.g., cost tracking, progress updates) and using it to analyze project performance and identify trends or issues.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Defining and tracking KPIs such as project cost, schedule variance, resource utilization, and scope creep.
- Reporting: Creating regular reports and dashboards that provide stakeholders with an overview of project status, risks, and performance, often using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
3. Risk Management
- Risk Identification: Identifying potential risks (financial, resource-related, operational) that could impact project outcomes.
- Risk Analysis: Analyzing the impact and probability of identified risks using tools such as Risk Matrices, Monte Carlo simulations, or SWOT analysis.
- Risk Mitigation: Recommending and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks and prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborating with project managers and teams to resolve issues that arise during project execution.
4. Financial Analysis and Budgeting
- Budgeting: Assisting in the creation and management of project budgets, ensuring that the project remains financially viable and within cost constraints.
- Cost Tracking: Monitoring project expenses and ensuring that spending aligns with the budget. Identifying variances and taking corrective action if needed.
- Forecasting: Estimating future costs and resource requirements based on project progress and potential changes.
- Return on Investment (ROI): Analyzing the financial outcomes of the project, ensuring that it delivers value for the investment.
5. Project Documentation and Communication
- Documentation Management: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, and change orders, ensuring that all information is accessible and up to date.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a liaison between project stakeholders (e.g., project managers, team members, clients, and senior leadership) to communicate project status, risks, and any adjustments to plans.
- Meeting Coordination: Organizing and participating in project meetings, including setting agendas, documenting discussions, and following up on action items.
6. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
- Identifying Issues: Quickly identifying challenges or obstacles that could affect project timelines, costs, or quality.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigating issues to determine their underlying causes and proposing solutions to address them effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommending process improvements to enhance project efficiency and prevent future problems, such as streamlining workflows or improving communication.
7. Collaboration and Teamwork
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, designers, and finance departments, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Team Support: Providing support to the project team by gathering and analyzing data to help inform decisions and provide clarity on project progress.
- Leadership Support: Assisting senior project leaders by offering data-driven insights and recommendations to improve decision-making and project outcomes.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Enable the processes, systems, and methodologies for large scale and complex portfolio management of Capital Projects - Optimize the return and outcomes throughout the lifecycle of an asset - Provide end-to-end service for investors, developers, and operators to maximize the value from infrastructure investment
