JOB PURPOSE:
To enable the assessment and credit decisions relating to unsecured credit facilities credit cards Personal loans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Retail Credit Appraisals
- Ensure high and accurate Prescreening of Cards / Loans applications and analyse credit proposal within the policy guidelines and within acceptable timeframe as per agreed SLA.
- Ensures discrepancies/ Fraudulent applications are escalated to line Manager and internal Fraud control Unit.
- Conducts telephonic and / or field verification to check the authenticity of information and documentation provided by the applicant
- Prepare detailed notes for recommendation and escalate to next level for accurate decisioning.
- Coordinates with internal customers Business Unit CAD and collection to ensure adherence to guidelines and that all requests are attended to in a prompt and professional manner and within the agreed timelines. .
Policies & Procedures
- Ensures the Preparation Maintenance and recording of all documents and data relating to loans and Credit facilities in the pre and post approval stages in a systematic manner adhering to requisite legal formalities and internal policies.
Self Management Responsibilities
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
- Identifies training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
- Strives to achieve with the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
- Keeps abreast of professional developments new techniques and current issues through related trainings
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration management Banking or any related discipline.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 1 years of experience.
