- Escort guests to their seats and ensure they are comfortable.
- Confirm bookings, seat guests promptly, and handle any changes.
- Handle waiting lists and provide accurate wait times during busy hours.
- Assist guests with questions, special requests, and ensure their queries are addressed.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth seating and service.
- Keep the entrance and seating areas neat and welcoming.
- Help prepare the lounge before service and clear tables as needed.
- Ensure a friendly, positive environment for all guests.
What Are We Looking For?
- Customer service experience, preferably in a lounge or restaurant.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing reservations.

Recruitment Process and Timeline
- Application Review: Submit your application, and our talent attraction team will review your profile

- Interview Process: If shortlisted, you will meet with our hiring/ operations managers and may need to attend one more round, which could include a trial at our kitchen or dine-in location

- Take reservations over the phone or through reservation platforms and update the reservation system accordingly.
- Confirm reservation details, including special requests (e.g., dietary needs, celebrations) and ensure that tables are prepared appropriately.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation log, tracking table availability and guest preferences.

Seating Guests:
- Assign guests to tables according to their preferences, availability, and the restaurant’s layout.
- Ensure that the dining area is properly arranged and that guests are seated comfortably.
- Communicate with waitstaff to ensure that tables are ready for guests.

Managing the Waitlist:
- Handle guests waiting for a table by managing the waitlist and keeping them informed about the estimated wait time.
- Provide information about the menu, daily specials, or beverages to keep guests engaged while they wait.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure that the flow of seating is efficient.

Customer Service:
- Address any immediate guest needs, such as requesting a high chair, special accommodations, or assistance with coat storage.
- Handle any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Ensure a pleasant experience for guests by maintaining a polite and attentive demeanor throughout their visit.

Coordinating with the Rest of the Staff:
- Communicate with the waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Keep track of dining room occupancy and coordinate the seating process to avoid overcrowding or long delays.
- Ensure that the seating chart is updated in real-time and that waitstaff are notified of changes in seating assignments.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
- Ensure that the entrance, lobby, and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Clean and reset tables when necessary, and make sure menus, chairs, and other dining materials are ready for guests.
- Maintain the appearance of the host stand, ensuring it is tidy and stocked with necessary items like menus, reservation logs, and promotional materials.
