Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Benchmark and implement best practices and establish sustainable mechanisms to audit and drive adoption of these processes/systems
  • Use the PDCA methodology to drive small scale improvements in processes
  • Use the Kaizen methodology to drive large scale process improvements or reduction in costs.
  • Own the roll out of new processes to improve Customer experience.
  • Sustain roll out of Continuous Improvement (CI) essentials and Kaizen essentials training to managers.
  • Own and Lead new initiatives and partnerships for Last Mile.
  • Regular deep dives of concessions, contacts and other quality metrics to enhance delivery & doorstep experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Desired candidate profile

1. Process Improvement Methodologies

  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement frameworks to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of process mapping and process reengineering techniques to redesign workflows for better efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Project Management

  • Strong project management skills, including defining project goals, timelines, resources, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects through to successful completion.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess current processes, identify bottlenecks, and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
  • Experience using data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to visualize and report on performance metrics and improvement progress.

4. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the root causes of inefficiencies and create actionable solutions.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to address challenges in business processes or workflows.

5. Change Management

  • Expertise in leading and managing organizational change, ensuring that improvements are successfully implemented and adopted by employees.
  • Ability to train and guide staff through changes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving employee engagement.

6. Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, from senior leadership to front-line employees.
  • Ability to present findings, improvements, and results in a clear and compelling manner to a variety of audiences.

7. Leadership and Team Development

  • Ability to lead teams, provide guidance, and motivate employees to embrace continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Skilled at developing and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative and problem-solving culture.

8. Customer-Focused Mindset

  • A strong understanding of how process improvements can lead to better customer satisfaction, reduced lead times, and increased product quality.
  • Ability to ensure that improvement initiatives align with customer needs and company objectives.

9. Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the industry in which the company operates and how best practices in continuous improvement can be applied to enhance operations.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance, quality standards, and regulations that impact the business.

10. Time Management and Prioritization

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively based on their impact on the organization.
