Project Quality Manager

Roles and responsibilities

• Minimum Overall 25+ years of oil & gas experience.
• Must have at least 8 to 10 Years experience working in Gas Processing & Gas Compression projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a MUST.
• FEED experience is a must.
• PMC & ADNOC experience is an added advantage.
• GCC experience required.

• A Project Quality Manager (PQM) plays a crucial role in ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards and align with the project's objectives. Below are the key skills required for this role:

  Technical Skills

• Quality Management Systems (QMS):

  • Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality improvement methodologies.

• Project Management:

  • Understanding of project life cycles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or Jira).

• Auditing and Compliance:

  • Conducting internal and external audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

• Risk Management:

  • Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks related to quality.
  • Use of tools like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

• Data Analysis:

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control tools.
  • Use of software like Minitab or Excel for trend analysis and reporting.

• Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail:

  • Ability to identify issues and discrepancies in deliverables.

• Problem-Solving:

  • Developing corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
