We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor compliance with local, national, and international regulations and industry standards.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and manage audits and inspections.
- Serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), handling FIU notifications and maintaining confidentiality.
Policy Development & Risk Management
- Develop, implement, and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Screen customers, vendors, and employees to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Training & Awareness
- Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Inspect records for compliance with AML/CFT regulations and detect suspicious transactions.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the Group’s adherence to policies and identify areas for improvement.
Incident Management
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain an incident database and follow through on resolution measures.
Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with internal departments like Audit, QHSE, and Legal to address compliance issues.
- Assist in other duties as assigned by the Group Internal Audit Manager or management.

- Regularly review and update policies to align with regulatory changes and best practices.
- Ensure employees understand and adhere to compliance policies through training and communication.
Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues or areas of vulnerability.
- Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to evaluate compliance controls.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Oversee internal compliance audits to assess adherence to policies and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve compliance breaches or irregularities.
- Report compliance findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as needed.
Training and Education
- Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance standards and practices.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization.
Liaison with Authorities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
- Manage submissions, reporting, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
