Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Develops and executes digital content and social media strategies, including creating high-quality content, managing social media calendars, and collaborating with brand partners on performance analysis. The role also involves engaging with and screening influencers to boost brand visibility and drive effective campaigns for diverse Sports Brands.

Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy, including competitive research, platform selection, messaging, and audience targeting
  • Plan, create, publish, and share engaging content daily (text, images, and video) to build meaningful customer connections, increase brand awareness, and drive community engagement
  • .Collaborate with retail and marketing teams to design and execute impactful social media campaigns
  • .Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, best practices, and technologies
  • .Manage the brand's social media profiles to maximize visibility and enhance the impact of social content
  • .Moderate user-generated content in line with the brand’s moderation guidelines
  • .Develop editorial calendars and syndication schedules to ensure consistent content delivery
  • .Monitor and analyze key social media metrics and insights to assess campaign performance, using this data to refine and improve future strategies
  • .Work closely with copywriters and content creators to ensure content is both informative and visually compelling

.People Management

:The individual will interact with brand stakeholders and manage relationships with agencies, content creators, and influencers

.Functional/Technical Competencies

  • :Experience with video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) or similar softwar
  • eExperience in using social media management tools

  • Visual Design Appreciation: An understanding of design principles and how to create visually compelling materials that represent the brand.

3. Digital Marketing Proficiency

  • Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of how to leverage various social media platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Content Marketing: Ability to create and execute content strategies that engage target audiences and drive traffic to digital platforms.
  • SEO and SEM Knowledge: Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to improve the brand’s online presence.

4. Analytical Skills

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data analytics to assess campaign performance, interpret results, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Insights: Ability to understand and apply customer insights to develop tailored marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience.

5. Communication Skills

  • Verbal and Written Communication: Ability to craft clear, persuasive, and on-brand messaging for various audiences.
  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting ideas, campaign results, and brand strategies to senior management, clients, or external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

6. Project Management and Organization

  • Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Budget Management: Ability to work within allocated budgets while maximizing impact and results.
  • Vendor and Agency Coordination: Manage relationships with external partners, including advertising agencies, PR firms, and production teams.

  • Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and adapting strategies when necessary.
