PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Structural BIM Modeler is responsible for creating managing and coordinating highquality 3D BIM models for structural components using advanced BIM software. The role ensures compliance with project specifications standards and Building Execution Plans (BEP) contributing to the seamless execution of design and construction phases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize Autodesk software suite including Revit Navisworks and AutoCAD for structural BIM modeling and coordination.
- Develop and coordinate detailed 3D models of structural systems using Revit 2023 focusing on reinforcement detailing.
- Create Reinforcement 3D BIM models based on engineers markups and project specifications.
- Extract accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) directly from Revit 2023 models.
- Ensure all extracted data is precise and aligns with project requirements.
- Ensure BIM models adhere to project specifications BEP and industry standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of models to maintain high quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including other BIM modelers designers and engineers to ensure models are fully coordinated and integrated.
- Resolve design clashes and ensure compatibility with other project elements.
- Organize and maintain uptodate BIM models ensuring version control and proper documentation.
- Manage cloudbased collaboration tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for effective project management.
- Stay updated on advancements in BIM software and related technologies to enhance productivity.
- Apply knowledge of building codes standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Revit 2023 for structural modeling and reinforcement detailing.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and other BIMrelated tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Problemsolving mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements.
