Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and manage detailed BIM models for HVAC systems using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate 3D models for HVAC systems including air conditioning ventilation heating and related systems.
- Ensure all HVAC models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects electrical engineers and structural engineers to resolve design conflicts and optimize system integration.
- Perform clash detection using tools such as Navisworks and resolve identified conflicts within HVAC systems.
- Participate in design coordination meetings to ensure smooth integration and delivery of HVAC systems within the overall project design.
- Produce detailed shop drawings schematics and layouts for HVAC systems based on BIM models.
- Maintain and update AsBuilt models as required ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards such as ASHRAE SMACNA and local authority regulations.
- Maintain highquality standards in all HVAC BIM deliverables and documentation.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering HVAC Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in HVAC BIM modeling ideally in the UAE or GCC countries.
- Experience with design consulting firms in the Middle East is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in BIM software especially Revit and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system design principles regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of local authority regulations and requirements in the GCC.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
