Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of an Architectural / ID BIM Modeler job is to enhance the design and delivery process of architectural and interior design projects by utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. This role is critical for bridging the gap between design concepts and constructionready documentation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop detailed Architectural and ID BIM Modelers in Revit ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Create simplied joinery models and utilize inplace modeling techniques in Revit for efficient design representation.
- Apply 2D overlaying of intricate patterns on Revit walls and ceilings ensuring alignment with design specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate design coordination and actively participate in clash detection and resolution processes.
- Maintain compliance with established project standards BIM protocols and quality assurance guidelines to deliver highquality outputs.
- Support project teams in reviewing and updating models during different project phases to ensure seamless integration of architectural and interior design elements.
- Assist in maintaining an organized BIM workflow and documentation system.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling with a focus on architectural and interior design projects in the UAE.
- Expertise in Revit software for Architectural and ID modeling.
- Knowledge of BIM Standards and protocols with the ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong understanding of joinery detailing and the ability to create simplified yet accurate joinery models.
- Experience in design coordination clash detection and resolution workflows.
- Proficiency in handling 2d overlays and pattern applications on BIM elements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work in a collaborative environment.
