Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design planning and implementation of Electrical/Mechanical systems for diverse projects.
- Conduct detailed technical analysis and provide engineering solutions for mechanical/electrical systems ensuring energy efficiency sustainability and costeffectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with clients architects contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Manage and review Electrical/Mechanical design calculations drawings and specifications ensuring compliance with local and international codes and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of feasibility studies cost estimates and project schedules.
- Perform site visits inspections and project reviews to monitor progress and ensure the quality and compliance of installed Electrical/Mechanical systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
- Identify and manage project risks ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between all project teams ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
- Contribute to business development efforts including client meetings proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities.
Key Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in MEP engineering and previous experience in an engineering consultancy environment. At least 3 years of experience in a senior or lead role.
- Extensive knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical systems design including HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection and building automation systems.
- Experience with industrystandard software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit HAP or other relevant MEP design tools).
- Strong understanding of local and international building codes safety standards and energy regulations.
- Excellent project management skills including experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously client communications and overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
