Job Description
- Supervise the daily operations of the stewarding department ensuring all kitchen areas dishwashing stations and storage spaces are clean organized and fully functional.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies utensils and tableware placing timely orders to maintain optimal stock.
- Enforce hygiene and sanitation standards across kitchen and dining areas in full compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Plan and assign tasks to stewarding staff monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and strict adherence to operational protocols.
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques equipment usage and safety practices to uphold consistent service quality.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations and promptly address any concerns regarding cleanliness or equipment functionality.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities identifying maintenance or repair needs and coordinating timely solutions with the maintenance team.
- Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of major kitchen equipment such as ovens stoves and refrigeration units ensuring they meet both operational and health standards.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supervisory Role in Stewarding or related roles in a Luxury Hotel is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines and a thorough understanding of Food Safety Standards.
