Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop precise cost estimates for ambulance and medical vehicle projects by analyzing materials labor and overhead costs.
Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to ensure all specifications align with regulatory standards and client expectations.
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and competitor offerings ensuring competitive and accurate bid submissions.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders clearly communicating estimation methodologies and assumptions.
Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in the estimation process.
Participate in project meetings providing insight on cost implications and risk assessments associated with design changes.
Continuously refine estimation processes by implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and service agreements.
Support project managers in budget tracking and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cost estimation within the automotive or medical vehicle industry.
Certification in Estimating or Project Management (e.g. CCM PMP) preferred to demonstrate expertise and commitment.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail capable of identifying costsaving opportunities without compromising quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
Experience with advanced estimation software tools.
A proactive and selfmotivated attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field.
