Responsibilities
- Work alongside teachers and other staff to support pupils’ learning
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement, under the guidance of teachers
- Provide feedback to teachers the progress, outcomes, and achievements made by pupil
- Monitor, maintain & review records of pupil progress over time
- Apply strategies to promote pupils’ self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence
- Prepare the learning environment and resources under the direction of teachers’ i.e preparing classrooms materials, displays, equipment & supplies.

- Candidates applying for this position MUST be sponsored by their spouse/father as this is a local contract, therefore, there are no additional benefits other than all school holidays as per academic year.

Desired candidate profile
1. Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, physical disabilities, and speech and language disorders.
- Familiarity with specific learning strategies and accommodations that can support students with SEN.
- Understanding of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and how to implement them effectively in the classroom.
2. Patience and Empathy
- Demonstrating patience when working with students who may take longer to understand or complete tasks.
- Showing empathy and providing emotional support to students who may struggle with confidence or emotional regulation.
- Recognizing and respecting the individual needs and challenges that each student faces.
3. Communication Skills
- Verbal Communication: Explaining instructions and concepts in a clear, simple, and accessible way.
- Listening Skills: Actively listening to students, understanding their needs, and responding appropriately.
- Non-verbal Communication: Using gestures, facial expressions, and body language to reinforce understanding and support learning.
4. Classroom Management
- Assisting in maintaining an organized, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting teachers in managing behavior in the classroom, especially for students with challenging behaviors.
- Helping students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in classroom activities.
5. Adaptability
- Being flexible and able to adjust teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Modifying activities or materials to ensure that they are accessible to all learners, particularly those with learning difficulties.
- Adapting quickly to changes in students' needs, classroom settings, or curriculum requirements.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to plan and implement learning strategies.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share insights, resources, and strategies for supporting students effectively.
- Participating in meetings to review students' progress and make necessary adjustments to their support plans.
