Summary:
This role is responsible for actively monitoring researching and analyzing upcoming projects within the Construction Oil Power Energy Infrastructure and Industrial sectors. You will maintain a comprehensive and uptodate database of projects resulting in driving lead generation and strategic decisionmaking within the customers organization.
Responsibilities:
Market Monitoring:
- Aggressively scan news sources industry publications government websites conferences and networking events to identify new and upcoming project opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a robust understanding of key project drivers regulations and sources across the target sectors.
Primary Research:
- Conduct primary research through direct outreach to project stakeholders including developers contractors government officials and investors.
- Develop detailed project profiles capturing key information such as project scope timelines budgets status and decisionmakers.
Database Management:
- Update and maintain a central database of project information ensuring accuracy completeness and accessibility.
- Follow existing and actively suggest data classification and tagging systems for efficient retrieval and analysis.
- Generate reports and presentations summarizing market trends project market dynamics and competitive intelligence.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders in the target sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business engineering economics or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in market research business intelligence or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent comprehension written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent research and information gathering skills.
- Highly motivated and selfdirected with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the construction oil power energy infrastructure or industrial sectors.
- Experience in research and analysis will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English Arabic and third a second language French preferred.
