You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vice Principal to join our clients School. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree or NPQH along with a teaching certification and a principal or educational management qualification. The Vice Principal will work closely with the Principal and other school leaders to provide strategic direction and support for the overall management and operations of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management: The Vice Principal will assist the Principal in providing strong leadership and management for the school ensuring that all policies procedures and practices are in line with the schools vision and mission.
2. Curriculum Development: The Vice Principal will work with the curriculum team to ensure the development and implementation of a rigorous and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
3. Teacher Development: The Vice Principal will support the professional development of teachers by providing coaching mentoring and training opportunities to enhance their teaching skills and pedagogy.
4. Student Welfare: The Vice Principal will oversee the welfare and wellbeing of students ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
5. Parent and Community Engagement: The Vice Principal will work closely with parents and the wider community to foster positive relationships and promote the schools values and initiatives.
6. Budget Management: The Vice Principal will assist in the development and management of the school budget ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support the schools goals and objectives.
7. School Improvement: The Vice Principal will work with the Principal to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them continuously striving to enhance the overall quality of education at the school.
Requirements:
Masters degree or NPQH
Teaching certification
Principal or educational management qualification
Minimum of 5 years experience in school management or leadership in a K12 international school
Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong understanding of curriculum development assessment and instructional practices
Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators
Proficient in budget management and strategic planning
