Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Bakery Helper and Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with bakery operations and maintaining cleanliness in the bakery area. This is a fulltime position with 40 hours per week located in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of bakery items such as bread pastries and desserts
Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
Mix ingredients according to recipes and instructions
Operate bakery equipment including ovens mixers and dough sheeters
Clean and sanitize work areas equipment and utensils
Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and organized bakery area
Stock and rotate ingredients and supplies
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when needed
Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure timely production and delivery of bakery items
Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality of bakery products
Assist with packaging and labeling bakery items for display and sale
Provide excellent customer service to bakery customers when needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to operate bakery equipment and machinery
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods lift heavy objects and work in a fastpaced environment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
