Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Assisting the kitchen team members in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area
  • Ensuring high standard of cleanliness, sanitation and orderliness in all kitchens and utility work areas is maintained
  • Heavy duty cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, walk-in refrigerators and freezers and other heavy kitchen equipment
  • Operating the dishwashing equipment to ensure that all culinary items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitation is maintained
  • Perform all Stewarding tasks as per given instructions
  • Responsible to ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

  • Previous Steward Experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Team work
  • Ability to work in a rotating shift and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of all chemicals used.
