Job Description
The Appointed Person Lifting Supervisor is responsible for planning supervising and overseeing all lifting operations onsite ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Key duties include conducting risk assessments preparing lift plans coordinating with crane operators and rigging teams and monitoring site conditions to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations. They work closely with project teams to prevent hazards and are accountable for implementing safe working practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Certification as an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations (e.g. CPCS or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and regulations
- Proven experience in planning and supervising lifting operations in construction or industrial settings
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
