Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry specifically focusing on interior fitout joinery projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and contract management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior fitout joinery projects.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine scope and pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and clients to gather relevant information.
- Review and assess subcontractor quotes and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on market trends and pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or joinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and negotiation processes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools.
