Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Public Relations Officer (PRO). As a PRO you will be responsible for managing the public image and reputation of our company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). You will report directly to the Port Services Manager in Fujairah and will play a crucial role in promoting our companys goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective PR strategies to enhance the companys image and reputation in the UAE.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets government agencies and other stakeholders.
Plan and coordinate media events press releases and other publicity activities.
Monitor and analyze media coverage and prepare reports for management.
Act as a spokesperson for the company and handle all media inquiries.
Manage crisis communication and handle any negative publicity.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into PR strategies.
Represent the company at industry events conferences and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
UAE National with a Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PR role preferably in the UAE. Freshers can also apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong networking and relationshipbuilding abilities.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful PR strategies.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of media relations and crisis management.
Proficient in MS Office and social media platforms.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
