Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet Manager to join the Summersalt Beach Club in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Organise and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out efficiently (consistent with operating policies and procedures) and delivers service excellence.
  • Maintain excellent guest relations and monitor guest comments.
  • Manage the implementation of F&B standards in the outlet ensuring that staff take corrective actions as necessary in adherence to Jumeirah Group’s policies and standards.
  • Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team in reaching common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
  • Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages and service offered to guests and escalate any major problems/ complaints to senior management to ensure high service quality as per Jumeirah Group quality standards.
  • Actively seeks, collates, reviews and shares Guest feedback associated with food quality, service, and overall satisfaction and takes appropriate and timely action to resolve any dissatisfaction.
  • Motivate subordinates and identify opportunities for participating in change initiatives, programs, and projects by considering best practices, improving processes, and improving productivity.



About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience in an Outlet Manager role with a strong F&B background in a standalone/branded restaurant, Beach Club experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English and an additional international language is a plus.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Good financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and increasing profitability.

Desired candidate profile

  1. Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising staff to ensure high performance and adherence to service standards.

  2. Operational Oversight: Managing daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and safety.

  3. Customer Service: Ensuring exceptional guest experiences by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and maintaining high service standards.

  4. Financial Management: Monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue through effective sales strategies.

  5. Menu Development: Collaborating with chefs or product teams to develop and update the menu, ensuring it aligns with guest preferences and market trends.

  6. Sales and Marketing: Implementing promotional strategies and marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase sales.

  7. Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of food and service quality, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  8. Reporting: Analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to make informed decisions and improve performance.

  9. Collaboration: Working with other departments (e.g., kitchen, marketing, finance) to ensure cohesive operations and effective communication.

  10. Crisis Management: Addressing any operational challenges or emergencies that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
