Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end implementation of ERP and CRM systems, from requirements gathering, design, and configuration to testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, IT, operations, and finance teams, to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure seamless integration between ERP/CRM systems and other platforms (e.g., payment gateways, fraud detection systems, digital banking tools) within the FinTech ecosystem.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage resources, and monitor performance to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that ERP/CRM systems adhere to financial industry regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, AML, and PSD2. Monitor data privacy and security requirements and implement necessary safeguards.
  • Agile Project Management: Lead agile project teams, ensuring proper sprint planning, backlog management, and adherence to timelines.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve ERP/CRM systems and business processes to drive automation, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in ERP and CRM implementations, ideally in a FinTech or fast-paced financial services environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) platforms, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
  • Business Process Expertise: Strong understanding of financial and operational business processes, including accounting, payments, compliance, customer management, and sales workflows.
  • Agile Methodology: Proficient in agile project management methodologies, with the ability to lead scrum teams and manage project backlogs.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues, optimize workflows, and implement effective solutions.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP/CRM implementation and management, with at least 2+ years in the FinTech industry.
  • PMP, Prince2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience with FinTech-specific platforms such as digital banking, payment gateways, or blockchain is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, AML) and ensuring system compliance.
  • Strong command of SQL, API integration, and experience with cloud-based ERP/CRM platforms is preferred.

  4. Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring that solutions meet quality standards and technical requirements.
  5. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
  6. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, balancing team workloads and managing dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet established standards and requirements through effective testing and validation processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant technologies, software development processes, and systems architecture.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and guide teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
