Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by providing a range of administrative functions such as managing candidate databases, coordinating with hiring managers, and scheduling interviews to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Screen and evaluate applications to identify top candidates, and work with hiring managers to schedule and conduct interviews.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure effective communication and a positive candidate experience.
  • Plan and execute various university career fair events to promote our employer brand and attract top talent from universities.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team by providing administrative assistance such as maintaining recruitment records and data analysis and taking on ad hoc projects as required.

What you Bring?

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related.
  • Strong command of MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to communicate with people of all levels.
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you'll support the recruitment process, helping to attract and hire qualified candidates for the organization. Here are key skills and qualifications essential for this role:

  • Understanding of Recruitment Processes: Basic knowledge of the talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and team members effectively.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks without compromising quality.

  • Sourcing Skills: Familiarity with various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to find potential candidates.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules, track applicants, and coordinate interviews.

  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct research on candidates and market trends to inform recruitment strategies.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to connect with candidates and collaborate with team members.

  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software, as well as standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

  • Team Player: Willingness to support team initiatives and work collaboratively with others.

  • Problem-Solving: Basic analytical skills to identify challenges in the recruitment process and suggest improvements.

  • Learning Mindset: Eagerness to learn about talent acquisition practices, HR policies, and industry trends.

  • Confidentiality Awareness: Understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism when handling candidate information.
