Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include:

  • Facilitates, guides, and directs all department heads in selecting the optimum revenue opportunities for the cluster properties.
  • Measures total revenue performance against strategy and targets and adapt current strategy as necessary.
  • Actively monitors the competitive environment and elaborates revenue optimizing tactics and strategies in order to maximize Revenue Generation Index (RGI)
  • To monitor changing market conditions and to assess the financial implications of market fluctuations on the property.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Sales & Marketing budget and business plan taking into consideration Market Mix, Occupancy levels, Average Room Rate & Rev Par, Yield management and revenue streams throughout both rooms and food & beverage.
  • Gives feedback on developing, implementing and managing rate structures and strategies through market data review and demand analysis.
  • Manage all aspects of the reservations service and quality in the CRS, PMS and related systems

Qualifications

  • Previous senior leadership experience within Revenue Management in Cluster role required.
  • Accor experience in UAE is required.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • High degree of professionalism with leadership management and business acumen capabilities.

  6. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales, marketing, and operational teams and effectively present findings.

  7. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and rates with clients, travel agents, and corporate accounts.

  8. Market Knowledge: Understanding of local market dynamics, seasonality, and competitor landscape to position properties effectively.

  9. Attention to Detail: Careful management of pricing and inventory to maximize revenue opportunities.

  10. Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
