Roller Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Roller Operator to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. Job Overview: As a Roller Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining roller machines to compact and level various types of materials on construction sites. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all surfaces are properly compacted and meet project specifications. This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Operate roller machines to compact and level materials such as soil gravel and asphalt on construction sites Inspect and maintain roller equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Communicate with the construction team to determine the appropriate compaction methods and techniques for different materials Monitor and adjust machine settings to achieve desired compaction levels Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on roller machines as needed Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment Keep accurate records of work performed materials used and equipment maintenance Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience operating roller machines in a construction setting Valid roller operator license or certification Strong understanding of construction materials and compaction techniques Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Excellent handeye coordination and physical dexterity Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Why Work for Us: At Star Services LLC we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
