Shift Supervisor

Position: Shift Supervisor (Steel Co.)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the production team on the assigned shift ensuring that all production targets are met.

Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies and take appropriate action to address any safety concerns.

Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge and provide guidance and support as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely production processes and address any issues that may arise.

Maintain accurate production records and reports and provide regular updates to management on production performance.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.

Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members as needed.

Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork open communication and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the steel manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment in the steel industry.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving efficiency.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
