Job Description
Our client is a popular caf in Dubai offering a delightful blend of French and Mediterranean cuisine. With over 100 seating capacity and roundtheclock operations they are known for delivering a warm and inviting dining experience. They are looking for a professional and friendly Hostess to be the welcoming face of their establishment.
The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests responsible for ensuring a positive and smooth customer experience from the moment they walk in. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills a welcoming attitude and experience in a highend or fastpaced restaurant environment.
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Handle guest inquiries and address any special requests or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and management to ensure smooth and efficient service flow.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the hostess area and reception.
- Assist with table turnovers and keep track of available seating.
- Stay updated on the menu special promotions and any relevant caf information to assist guests.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria
- Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar role in a highvolume restaurant or caf would be a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Wellgroomed appearance with a positive outgoing attitude.
- Ability to handle highpressure situations with grace and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems or managing guest lists.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Flexibility to work on shifting schedule
