Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial transactions at the golf club including receiving payments for services retail purchases and memberships.
  
• Process credit card cash and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
  
• Ensure accurate cash handling reconciliation and endofday reports.
  
• Provide excellent customer service greeting and assisting guests with inquiries about the golf club its services and facilities.
  
• Work closely with the other staff to ensure smooth operation of events tee times and facility bookings.
  
• Handle pointofsale (POS) system ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
  
• Manage the proper distribution and allocation of service charges and tips.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and area.
  
• Assist in handling customer complaints or feedback in a professional manner.
  
• Assist with inventory control for merchandise and goods sold at the golf clubs pro shop or retail area.
  
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless guest experience from entrance to departure.
  

Qualifications:

• Prior cashier or customer service experience (experience in the hospitality sports or entertainment industries is a plus).
  
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
  
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  

Additional Information:

• Eligible for tips and service charge distributions in addition to base salary.
  
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
  
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
