Job Summary
The System IT & Marketing Specialist is a dualrole position that bridges the gap between technical IT support and digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a versatile professional capable of managing and maintaining the companys IT infrastructure while also driving digital marketing efforts to enhance the companys online presence and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
IT Responsibilities:
System Administration:
- Install configure and maintain hardware software and network systems including servers routers and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure security protocols are in place.
- Provide technical support to staff resolving ITrelated issues promptly.
- Manage backups data recovery and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and manage IT assets and inventory.
Network Management:
- Oversee the network infrastructure ensuring connectivity security and performance.
- Implement network upgrades and improvements as needed.
- Manage VPNs network security protocols and access controls.
Cybersecurity:
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect the companys digital assets.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and implement preventative measures.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing:
- Develop implement and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms including social media email and SEO.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Manage the companys website ensuring it is uptodate secure and optimized for search engines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that aligns with the companys brand and goals.
Content Creation:
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials including graphics videos and written content.
- Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers for additional marketing support when needed.
Data Analytics:
- Utilize data analytics tools to track and report on marketing performance metrics.
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to improve marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Marketing or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in IT system administration or support.
- 23 years of experience in digital marketing preferably with a focus on B2B or B2C environments.
- Proficiency in network management system administration and cybersecurity.
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics SEO tools and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in IT (e.g. CompTIA Cisco Microsoft) or Digital Marketing (e.g. Google AdWords HubSpot).
- Experience with cloud computing and virtual environments.
- Knowledge of web design and development.
