General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Acting as the main technical adviser on infrastructure facilities like Roads and Civil works.
- Maintenance of the Road directional signage Warning and Control signs per the ADM/DOT Standard.
- Checking technical drawings for adherence to standards and maintaining operational compliance.
- Operation and Maintenance of the infra & Recreation projects as per ADM standards.
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
- Managing monitoring and interpreting the contract design and specification.
- Liaising with any consultants subcontractors supervisors planners quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local stakeholders regulations.
- Liaising with stakeholders and their representatives (engineers and management ) including attending regular meetings to inform them of progress.
- Planning the work and organizing the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
- Overseeing quality control health and safety matters on site.
- Preparing reports as required.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- A degree in civil engineering is required.
- 10 or more years of experience in managing similar packages.
- Ability to think ahead identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to workrelated issues.
- Demonstrates a determination desire to succeed and a wish to progress and develop.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite or Primavera.
- Excellent numerical and communication skills.
