Landscape Architect

Position: Landscape Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Design and plan outdoor spaces including parks gardens residential and commercial landscapes

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and desires for their outdoor space

Create detailed drawings and plans using computeraided design (CAD) software

Select appropriate plants materials and structures for each project

Create cost estimates and budgets for projects

Oversee the implementation of projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans

Stay updated on industry trends and new materials/techniques

Manage and mentor junior landscape architects and support staff

Communicate effectively with clients contractors and other team members

Requirements:

A bachelors degree in engineering from a governmental university is a must.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design

Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design programs

Strong knowledge of plant materials construction techniques and horticulture

Excellent communication organization and timemanagement skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

Ability to travel to project sites as needed
