The main purpose:
- Manages its portfolio: Europe.
- Travel to these countries when required to attend events, sales calls, exhibitions.
- Meeting targets for designated Accounts and defined new Markets/ segments for own territory.
- Execute the sales & marketing strategy and plan of action related to own segment.
- Ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with Jumeirah’s Brand Standards.
- Build, maintain and keep nurturing positive relationships with key partners to maximize strategic goals within the leisure and consortia segment.
- Provides support and tactical innovation to the ADOS on Leisure Market strategy either by partners or markets.
The main responsibilities are:
- Act as the single point of contact within the hotel for each key account.
- Assist and introduce Jumeirah Hotels Sales & Marketing teams to area of coverage/responsibility and identified customer group when requested.
- Produce and implement an account development plan for each managed account to achieve maximum revenue in both the short and long term.
- Execute the annual commercial plan of the hotel within the area of responsibility.
- Monitor and feedback competitors’ activities and respond to them appropriately.
- Maintain high profile network across the geographical area given, actively prospects and hunt new business opportunities.
- Continuously source new business through research of local media, Government, and market intelligence.
- Attend overseas trade shows, key client events, FAM trips and sales trip as planned and submitted at the beginning of each year and updated calendar at each quarter.
- Identify and communicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments and territory.
- Complies with all regional reporting requirements in the set timeframe.
- Maintain an accurate profile and history of all accounts in Salesforce.
- Contribute to the month end report and submit it to line manager by the end of 1st week of the month.
- To produce sales report in Salesforce after each sales call and update the client details as needed to ensure our database is always up to date.
- Submit all new opportunities for the SBU’s via Salesforce
- Compile via JBI / Power BI on quarterly basis the results of own assigned incentive targets and submit back to line manager.
- Proper quality of input in Salesforce and make sure to enter new contacts and accounts into the system as per the Jumeirah Data Entry Standards.
- Meet a monthly JC target of 50 activities to include the following sub types “i.e. Sales Calls, Entertainment, Telemarketing, Site Inspections.”
- Attend the daily briefing at the hotel and give feedback to other sales colleagues.
- Review daily the guest arrival list to highlight VIP’s and returning guests.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably with an international hospitality company or a recognized blue-chip organization.
- Knowledge within the markets of its portfolio.
- Strong capability with Salesforce and JBI, Revenue Management and Windows Suite
- Excellent sales skills and proven ability to influence clients to lead to higher revenue generations
- Creative and innovative approach to sales activities.
