Skills And Attributes For Success

If you are an excellent communicator and detail oriented professional with a strong track record of management experience who is comfortable working across borders with a wide network of people and with large amount of data, you will be perfect for the role.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business studies, accounting, or finance.
• MBA, Masters or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a large professional services company or a Big 4 firm.
• Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with global accounting standards.
• Updated on developments in IFRS regulations and standards, applying changes effectively to maintain compliance and best practices.
• Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings.
• Supporting major pursuits and proposals throughout the lifecycle, and supporting/facilitating pursuit qualification and strategy processes
• Provide training and guidance to team members on IFRS requirements and their implications for financial reporting.
• Practical experience of regulatory topics including Prudential Reporting, accounting, and compliance innovation; and/or Business audit skills.
  

Ideally, you also have

• Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective business development solutions.
• Promote the company’s services to prospective clients.
• Has a proven track record in BD, account management, or project management.
• Experience of dealing with multinational clients and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
• Experience and knowledge of tax compliance, financial reporting and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Ability to win in the market, good negotiation skill and ability to work under challenging situations.
• Demonstrated good understanding and capability of implementing accounting concepts.
• Arabic Language skills preferable
• GCC experience preferable.
