FIRE FIGHTING BIM MODELER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create develop and manage detailed BIM models for firefighting systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Ensure models are compliant with project standards specifications and local fire safety regulations.
• Perform regular updates and revisions to the BIM models as project requirements evolve.
• Work closely with architects engineers and other stakeholders to integrate firefighting systems within the overall project model.
• Collaborate with MEP coordinators and BIM managers to resolve any clashes or discrepancies in the models.
• Participate in coordination meetings to discuss and resolve issues related to firefighting BIM models.
• Conduct quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Use clash detection tools to identify and resolve conflicts within the firefighting systems and between other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports related to firefighting BIM models.
• Generate accurate and detailed drawings and schedules from the BIM models for use in project documentation and construction.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in firefighting BIM modeling in the GCC region.
• Proficiency in BIM software particularly Autodesk Revit Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of firefighting systems including sprinkler systems fire alarms and suppression systems.
• Experience with clash detection and resolution in a BIM environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
