Chief Financial Officer crypto industry experience required

Hiring for a large cryptocurrency company in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

• Establish the company s financial strategy and direction while being an integral part of the executive leadership team.
  
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting treasury corporate finance and investor relations.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
• Manage the financial performance of the company by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; and minimizing the impact of variances.
  
• Develop financing strategies plans and procedures to fund the company s growth and manage the risks associated with the cryptocurrency market.
  
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances.
  
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions of the organization.
  
• Maintain a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency markets trends and economic indicators.
  
• Steward the capital structure of the company determining the best mix of debt equity and internal financing.
  
• Address issues related to cryptocurrencyspecific financial matters such as token economics blockchainbased accounting systems and taxation.
  
• Collaborate with the legal team on compliance and regulatory matters including those specific to the crypto industry.
  
• Contribute to strategic discussions and decisionmaking regarding the company s business model product offerings and expansion plans.
  
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
  
• Develop and implement sophisticated policies and procedures both in the finance and general operational realms.
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven track record of success.
  
• Strong understanding and experience with blockchain technology cryptocurrency markets and related financial regulations.
  
• CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable along with a relevant Bachelor s/Master s degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration.
  
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams across finance accounting and possibly IT departments.
  
• Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles including a deep understanding of international finance operations.
  
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in building relationships with partners shareholders and financial institutions.
  
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills capable of creating and managing financial models and budgets.
  
• Experience in crafting financial strategies and knowledge of all legal tax and regulatory issues within the cryptocurrency space.
