Job Description
- Monitor and control the Engineering P&L.
- To ensure department has a clear Engineering financial strategy that is in line with the hotel policies and to ensure the consistent implementation of this strategy.
- Facilitate the production of the annual payroll budget for Engineering. This includes the production of headcount and payroll establishment figures, plus on-going responsibility for ensuring that all payrolls related costs are managed within agreed budgets in conjunction with Human Resources.
- Prepare the annual Business plan with support of other operational functions.
- Closely monitor the profitability of Engineering department and provide solutions to improve problem areas and assists in implementing corrective measures.
- Continuously develop ideas to increase Engineering’s productivity and be cost-efficient with a positive impact .
- Liaise and coordinate with other departments (i.e. marketing, accounts and finance) if and when necessary to ensure the commercial sustainability of the operation.
- Through clear metrics and customer feedback continuously review all Engineering service levels provided across the hotel and make necessary improvements.
- Ensuring the effective implementation and administration of company-wide policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated Company objectives and UAE legislation requirements.
- To develop and implement a range of diversity and inclusion initiatives with a clear focus on sustainability .
- To lead and manage All Capex projects with a clear timeline to support business run their operation smoothly.
- Ensure adherence to supply chain and logistic is well followed with all activities relevant to maintenance repairs and capex .
