As the Assistant Communications Manager, your job is to assist while being trained on the various tasks and responsibilities within the Group Corporate Affairs Unit, mainly Internal and External Communications and Pearl Museum activities.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Pearl Museum Curator with Pearl Museum visits
- Assisting in Group-wide communication to all employees within the Group ensuring that all internal messages, articles, circulars disseminated within the Group are aligned with the bank’s policies and procedures; are proofread and screened for sensitive content and for consistency in layout; this includes the daily alerts, e-bulletin newsletter and weekly circulars
- Assisting in drafting speeches, messages, quotes for Group leadership, drafting of messages from Group CEO to all employees, drafting of press releases and answers to media queries as well as proof reading articles and circulars disseminated within the Group
- Assisting with the management of Group Initiatives such as General Assembly Meetings, Annual Reports, Financial Results announcements, Awards submission and special initiatives etc.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- Good Communication skills
- Good Arabic and English skills
