About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Private Dining Manager - F&B Service to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Organise and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence).
- Monitor food hygiene standards and take proactive steps to maintain them and maintain an approach of continuous development to sustain the best hygiene standards.
- Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
- Actively seeks, collates, reviews and shares Guest feedback associated with food quality, service, and overall satisfaction and takes appropriate and timely action resolving any dissatisfaction.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
- Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all Guests are served as per the brand standard.
- Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for participating in change initiatives, programs and projects considering best practices, improvement of processes and productivity improvement.
About you:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Private Dining Manager role with strong F&B background.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Additional language would be an advantage.
- Basic Knowledge of MS Office applications and knowledge of Micros & Opera
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills to engage others without requiring direct authority.
