Design Engineer - Electrical ICT

Job Description

Experience in design of sitewide Security system, ICT network, Control room IT active and passive components.

Experience in extra low voltage systems such as Public Wi-Fi, PA/BGM, Parking management systems, Digital Signage.

Experience in civil works design required for the ICT systems for land use development projects covering residential, commercial and entertainment projects.

Experience of developing design drawings from Concept till Issued for Construction, Prepare specifications and technical design reports .

Experience of working on projects from master planning stage up till detailed design.

Support in progress meetings/communication with contractors, consultants and authorities. Attend site visits as and when required.

Ensure that Safety in design is followed and quality process is in compliance with specification and requirement of the project. Exposure to all design tool and software.

To minimize end user comments and ensure client satisfaction and quality of deliverables.

Ensure the design meets all relevant international codes and Middle East standards.

When required, Support in reviewing of Contractor key shop drawings and major materials submittals, Liaise with other relevant disciplines for design coordination and maintain the professional integrity. Support contractor technical queries and RFIs related to design.

Experience of UAE and KSA authority standards and guidelines.

Fiber and Cu Structured Cabling works is an added advantage, not mandatory.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical, communication engineering or equivalent

5 years hands on design experience.
