You will be updated with latest job alerts via email1. Achieve a comprehensive understanding of the case by undertaking the process of receiving, recording, and reviewing the case file and all attached documents, including the client’s history.
2. Determine the series of crimes, the legal obligations, the number of interviews and evidence needed, and the methods of collecting them to prepare the investigation plan and determine the legal framework under which the type of case and the appropriate investigation falls under it.
3. Determines the extent of the need for technical support (internally) or from external agencies, such as cases of: an inspection warrant
4. Documenting the investigation plan by identifying the relevant parties involved, the scope of the investigation, preparing interview questions, tentative dates, time, location, and legal requirements necessary for the interview and referring them to the group leader for approval.
5. Obtaining technical support from the Legal Affairs Department or other business units, as well as information received from the relevant departments, when needed, and re-examining the case after receiving support and relevant information and reviewing the extent of response during an investigation into the case.
6. Obtain the support of external bodies when needed, in accordance with specific memorandums of understanding to process and complete all possible evidence necessary to resolve the case.
7. Updating the case file by obtaining the required evidence from the client such as (additional photos, information about the client, visiting the crime scene, intelligence information, additional information from other customs departments and centers)
8. Examining samples of seizures during the investigation, and verifying the accuracy of the information contained in the case file with correct and complete information and evidence
9. Conduct interviews with the client, maintain the foundations of the interview, and provide evidence to the client if he denies the accusations made
10. Prepare an interview report (in Arabic) which includes recording the investigation/interview, analysis and conclusion, case status, and other relevant documents
11. Analyze and review the results of the investigation, and determine the need to continue the investigation or prepare the final report
12. Preparing investigation reports and sending them to the group head for review and approval, along with the technical reports prepared by the technical experts and case recommendations (actions to be taken)
13. Performing any duties assigned by the direct manager in a correct and timely manner with reliability, integrity, and ensuring that the assigned tasks are completed to the fullest extent.
