Finance Manager

Position Overview: The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the contracting civil construction or interior fitout industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and analysis.
  
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and cash flow.
  
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and maintain accurate financial records.
  
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for senior management.
  
• Manage the company s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including variance analysis and financial modelling.
  
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets costs and financial performance.
  
• Conduct financial risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  
• Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; a Master s degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA CFA) is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management within the contracting civil construction or interior fitout industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations standards and best practices.
  
• Proficient in financial software and tools with advanced skills in Excel and financial modelling.
  
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and resultsorientation.
