This position reports to

Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible to empower ABB Motion business with datadriven insights optimizing performance and accelerating innovation. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Motion Business Area based in Dubai UAE. You will be mainly accountable for: Extracting and analyzing data from various sources (sales finance etc.) identifying trends patterns and root causes affecting key business metrics (order intake profitability market share). Developing and managing data dashboards and reports potentially integrating them with userfriendly interfaces for stakeholders. Creating and maintaining reports ensuring data quality and access management. Gathering requirements for new reports and prioritizing development based on business needs. Conducting deepdive analysis supporting business Collaborating with various departments (frontend units process owners IT) continuously improving data quality and identifying opportunities for improvement. Implementing data analysis tools and methods to support overall business analytics and reporting needs. Conducting exploratory research to stay updated on new methodologies tools and data sources. Collaborating with Business leaders to delve into various ABB data warehouses providing meaningful analysis of the Motion Business Supporting functional managers with weekly monthly yearly reports and dash boards reports. Managing repositories for Database and reports amalgamating multiple reports to a condensed report.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors / masters degree in mathematics Computer Science Finance or a related quantitative field
• (Data analyst / Data scientist)
• 5 to 6 years of experience in data science business intelligence or analytics with a good track record of delivering impactful results.
• Strong experience in data interrogation and deriving meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (SQL Python R etc.)
• Experience in SAP (HANA) and Power BI (ideally at DAX level)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for nontechnical audiences.
• UAE local experience will be an added advantage.
